IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
- You are required to put in 90 minutes per week in out-of-class time.
- Fall semester will begin with a series of 2-week video projects. Completed videos are due every second Thursday.
- At the end of each 2-week project, you will rate yourself and rate your teammates based on Workplace Rubric.
- Your completed projects will be judged based on the rubrics listed below.

- Storyboard due Monday Sept 22
- Completed video due Friday Oct 3

RUBRICS — MEASURES OF SUCCESS
- Does it work as instruction? Are the steps clear and understandable?
- Is the audio clear and understandable? Could someone follow the steps?
- Do the images clearly show the steps? Clearly lllustrate the voiceover? Are there enough close-ups to show what is being described?
- Is it edited appropriately to the voiceover?

- Ceate a video approx. 45 seconds that shows a part of Galileo
- Model this video after the SAHARA exercise:
Footage of Galileo edited to voiceover and music
- Completed video due Thursday Sept 18

RUBRICS — MEASURES OF SUCCESS
- Is the voiceover and audio successful in describing, explaining and giving a feeling for this part of Galileo?
- Is footage cut neatly to voiceover and/or music?
- If there is no voiceover is it justifiable? Does the video still work to "show" the designated area?
- Does footage show the location in an effective way? (Do we understand where we are and what we are looking at?)
